Guest Post: 7 Top Food Photography Tips + Giveaway Winner

When Georgette of Chocolate and Figs invited me to do a guest post on the importance of good food photography on food blogs, I wasn’t just honored, I was blown away! I’ve been an admirer of Chocolate and Figs for some time now and can’t get enough of Georgette’s wonderful photography and recipes.

I don’t have to tell you how important good food photography is these days on food blogs. We eat first with our eyes, and it’s much harder to get excited about a recipe if an unappetizing photo accompanies it. I know many bloggers complain that they don’t have the time or resources to accomplish beautiful food photographs, but I’m here to tell you that you can.

For the full post please head over to Chocolate and Figs!!

Thank you Tina! So glad it is informative. I have a ton to learn as well and I also get totally caught up in styling! So much to get caught up in.

great tips! I need to focus (hehe) more on lighting now that winter is here — no worries photographing dinner when the sun goes down at 9:30…not so when it`s gone by 4pm! Theresa

Just through with reading the post Katherine. I must say the post was very informative. Even I use photoscape for photo editing. guess that is something we have in common 🙂
